Meet Jelly Bean

He's small. He's calm. He's a miniature horse who has walked into preschool classrooms, nursing home common rooms, and school gymnasiums across the Texarkana area, and he has never once failed to make a room light up.


Jelly Bean visits are available for preschools, daycares, nursing homes, senior centers, church groups, and school events. On-site ranch visits are also available for groups who want to come to us. Either way, your group gets to brush and interact with a trained miniature horse and experienced RWJ handlers on-site the entire time.

How a Jelly Bean Visit Works

Off-site visits start at a $50 donation, but larger donations are welcome. We handle everything including logistics, animal management, and participant interaction from arrival to departure. On-site ranch visits are also available for groups who want to come to us.

Jelly Bean visits are a great fit for:

Every visit is fully supervised by experienced RWJ handlers. Participants get to brush and interact with Jelly Bean across every age and ability level. Nothing for you to coordinate. Just show up and watch what happens.

Every Jelly Bean visit is a donation to Runnin WJ Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center, a PATH Premier Accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving riders with disabilities in Texarkana since 2001. When you book a visit, you're not just bringing something special to your group. You're helping keep a rider in the saddle.
